NASA ROBOTS FEATURED AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY 'ROBOT BLOCK PARTY'

MOFFETT FIELD, Calif. – NASA robots will be featured during a "Robot 
Block Party" at Stanford University, Stanford, Calif. from noon – 6 
p.m. PDT on Wednesday, April 14, 2010. The Stanford Program in Law, 
Science, and Technology is hosting the event as part of the inaugural 
year of National Robotics Week. This event is free and open to the 
public. 

WHAT: A robotics event that will showcase cutting-edge robotics 
technology, including robots that drive cars, climb walls, assemble 
delicate parts, and help perform medical procedures. Robots from NASA 
Ames Research Center’s Intelligent Robotics Group will also be on 
display, including the K10 and K10-mini planetary rovers and the 
Gigapan robot camera. 

WHERE: Paul Brest Hall located in Munger Building 4, directly behind 
Stanford Law School at Stanford, Calif. Park at Tresidder Union or in 
Parking Structure 6.

WHEN: Noon – 6 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

National Robotics Week is organized by the Robotics Caucus of the U.S. 
Congress and leading robotics companies, schools, and organizations.
