NASA Announces FY 08 Budget News Conference

NASA Administrator Michael Griffin will brief news media about the agency's Fiscal Year 2008 budget at 10 a.m. PST, Monday, Feb. 5. Reporters are invited to observe a live broadcast of the budget news conference at NASA Headquarters in the main auditorium, Bldg. N-201, at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif.
Immediately following the broadcast, reporters will be invited to participate in a media opportunity with NASA Ames Research Center Director S. Pete Worden and Chief Financial Officer Paul Agnew to discuss the budget implications to NASA Ames. The briefing will be held in the Jack Boyd Committee Room in Bldg. N-200.
Griffin will be joined by Deputy Administrator Shana Dale and the agency's associate administrators from the Space Operations, Science, Aeronautics and Exploration mission directorates.
The news conference will be broadcast live on NASA Television and the agency's Internet homepage with questions from reporters at Headquarters and participating agency field centers. Reporters at NASA Ames will be able to ask questions of the briefing participants via a telephone link.
