NASA Awards Task Order for Supercomputing Research

NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., has awarded a cost-plus-award-fee and performance-based task order valued at approximately $49.4 million to Advanced Management Technology Inc. (AMTI), Arlington, Va., to provide technical support for supercomputing research and development.

Under the terms of the task order, AMTI will provide technical support to the NASA Advanced Supercomputing Division at NASA Ames. The division supports NASA's return to flight and recertification program, as well as a variety of space exploration research. In addition, AMTI will provide research, development and operations support in computer and computational science related to high-end computing for various mission- critical NASA applications.

The period of performance is expected to be two years - a one-year base period, followed by a one-year option.
