NASA ADMINISTRATOR TO DISCUSS AGENCY TRANSFORMATION

News media representatives are invited to a televised news conference at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., on Thursday, June 24.  NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe will outline the agency's transformation, which is an important component of the final report from the Commission on Implementation of U.S. Space Exploration Policy.

The briefing will be broadcast live on NASA Television from NASA Headquarters, Washington and can be viewed at 12 p.m. PDT at NASA Ames in the main auditorium, Building N-201. The briefing also will be broadcast live on the Internet. Reporters at Ames will be able to ask questions via a phone link with NASA Headquarters.

NASA TV is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. Audio of the broadcast is available on voice circuit at: 321/867-1220/1240/1260.
