NASA TO AWARD CONTRACT FOR LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SERVICES

NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., will award a Small Business Administration (SBA) Section 8 (a) Performance Based Contract valued at more than $38 million this month to Tessada and Associates, Inc., of Springfield, VA, to provide logistics management services.

Under the terms of this contract, Tessada and Associates, Inc., will provide for supply and warehouse management, equipment management, mail services, packing, shipping, and receiving services, fleet management, refuse services, janitorial services and industrial property management.  Work will be performed at NASA Ames Research Center and Moffett Field.

The contract will have a period of performance of one year (base period) and four one-year options for performance.  Tessada and Associates, Inc., is an SBA 8 (a) service related disabled veteran-owned company.
