Selected images from the Mars Center opening day festivities- NASA Ames Center Director G. Scott Hubbard, Mars scientists Dr. David Des Marais and Dr. Nathalie Cabrol welcome visitors to the Mars center opening. The ribbon to open the center was cut by a 'Trikebot' built by a local high school student. At noon, the Mars Center officially opened to the public.
