NASA today announced that it has selected Dr. Bruce Runnegar of the University of California, Los Angeles, as the next director of NASA’s Astrobiology Institute (NAI).  He succeeds Nobel Laureate Dr. Baruch S. Blumberg, who last year declared his intention to step down from the position.
