Columbia Supercomputer

The Columbia supercomputer is a 10240-processor SGI Altix located at the NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) Facility at NASA Ames Research Center. NASA's most powerful supercomputer was named to honor the Columbia Space Shuttle astronauts and is revitalizing the agency's high-end computing infrastructure and helping make breakthrough scientific discoveries and engineering advances to support agency missions.
