1. What can labs on a CD do? (36 SECONDS)
"Okay, well, this. . . the machine can be used to do a variety of types of research, but the way it’s configured right now is it’s set up so that if you take a like a container of water that has bacteria growing in it, and you want to know how much bacteria is in there, and then you want to know how many of them are alive and how many of them are dead. This system would give you the ability to do that. And it does it based on looking at the cell walls and seeing whether or not the cell walls of the bacteria are intact or whether the cell walls are damaged.”
