11. Q: Could you describe auguring?

Stoker: "So, in simple terms, an augur is the same thing that uses – that you'd use in a hand drill, if you were going to drill into a wooden plank. And it basically has flutes in the surface of the cylinder that is the drill itself that carries the cuttings – like the wood chips out and up to the surface. So, that's the same kind of process we're using for drilling into rock." (29 SECONDS)
