NASA - Driving Directions to the NASA Ames Research Center

Map of Bay AreaFrom Highway 101 Northbound

  1. Exit Moffett Blvd./NASA Parkway.
  2. At the stop light, turn right.
  3. Proceed to main gate in the right lane.
  4. The guard will direct you to either badging, parking or your destination in the NASA Research Park. Be prepared to show a driver's license to proceed into the NASA Research Park.

From Highway 101 Southbound

  1. Exit Moffett Blvd./NASA Parkway.
  2. At the stop light, turn right.
  3. Proceed to main gate in the right lane.
  4. The guard will direct you to either badging, parking or your destination in the NASA Research Park. Be prepared to show a driver's license to proceed into the NASA Research Park.

Directions NASA Ames From Central Expressway East (from Mtn. View) or West (from Sunnyvale)

  1. Exit Moffett Boulevard.
  2. Go straight, passing 5 stoplights.
  3. Continue with directions #3 and #4, from 101 S.

From Highway 85 (Cupertino area)

  1. Exit Moffett Boulevard.
  2. Take a right at the stoplight.
  3. Go straight, staying in the right lane, passing three stoplights.
  4. Continue with directions #3 and #4, from 101 S.

From 880 (Fremont area)

  1. Get on 237 West going towards Mtn. View.
  2. Take the Highway 101 N exit.
  3. Continue with directions from Highway 101 Northbound.

From El Camino Real

  1. Take Castro Street and go straight. Castro becomes Moffett Boulevard at the Central Expressway intersection.
  2. Go straight, passing 5 stoplights.
  3. Continue with directions #3 and #4, from 101 S.
