Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is focused on flying the remaining space shuttle missions safely and completing the International Space Station. From this same location that launched humans to the Moon forty years ago, KSC is preparing for new missions back to the Moon as part of NASA's Constellation Program.
Kennedy is also home to NASA's Launch Services Program. This program is responsible for launching satellites and robotic missions on journeys to learn more about our home planet and to unlock the secrets of the universe.
