07.13.06
Come take a virtual reality field trip to the Moon, Mars and beyond!
The "Vision for Space Exploration Experience" is coming to NASA Ames Research Center and will be located behind the white tent of the NASA Exploration Center from July 27, 2006 though July 30, 2006. The hours of operation will be from 10 am to 4 pm.
Housed on a 53-foot-long trailer, the traveling exhibit will inspire space enthusiasts as they embark on their simulated journey to the farthest reaches of the solar system. From interactive holographic control panels to 3D imagery, visitors will discover what it might be like to live and work on the surfaces of the moon and Mars and to travel to Saturn's moon, Titan.
Admission to the exhibit is absolutely free of charge. Visitors of all ages are welcome and the trailer is wheelchair accessible.
