STS-121 Space Shuttle Launch
Please Note: The launch of the space shuttle Discovery STS-121 was scrubbed Sunday July 2, 2006 for 48 hours due to poor weather at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch has been rescheduled for July 4, 2006 at 11:38 a.m. PDT. The Exploration Center at NASA Ames Research Center will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PDT to the public and news media to view the launch.
