The AEE curriculum is aligned with State and National Teaching Standards in the areas of Math, Science, and Technology.

In addition to Science Standards, Ames Exploration Encounter incorporates English Language Development (ELD) standards and provides English Learners a contextualized, interactive opportunity for academic language development.

Please be advised that there is a break in the middle of the field trip for the kids to eat a snack, use the restroom or the drinking fountain. There are cubby-holes for the students to use upon arrival for their belongings.

For classes interested in extending their stay at NASA, there are picnic tables at the Exploration Center (The Visitor's Center that looks like a big white tent just outside the gates) for your class to eat lunch. If your class would like to visit the Exploration Center, which is free to the public, please call 650-604-6497 to arrange for your group's arrival. The Exploration Center is open Tuesday-Friday from 10AM-4PM, Saturday-Sunday 12PM-4PM, but they are closed on Mondays.

The AEE is now open for online registration!
