MULTIMEDIA RESOURCES
NASA Education Program - NASA Multimedia Resources

  • Online Multimedia -- NASA has a spectacular array of online multimedia resources, such as images, videos, podcasts, interactive features, NASA TV, an art gallery and downloads.
  • NASA Direct! -- This Web broadcast allows viewers a unique and exciting way to follow launches, landings or other special events occurring at Kennedy Space Center. Each broadcast includes entertaining and informative programming, insider information, and interviews with experts, dignitaries and special guests. For some events, the audience has an opportunity to submit questions and interact with special guests.

  • Real-Time Satellite Tracking -- This site provides several ways to get information in real time for sighting opportunities. Users can see the flight path the space shuttle takes when it lands, or find orbital tracking data for the International Space Station and space shuttle.
  • Models -- The Cassini/Huygens spacecraft, Hubble Space Telescope and Mars spacecraft are just a few of the models that the user can download and assemble. These sites require skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced.
  • Central Operation of Resources for Educators -- CORE is a worldwide distribution center for NASA's educational multimedia materials. Educational materials such as videotapes, slide sets, CD-ROMs and DVDs are available for a minimal fee.
