AGENCY NEWS
NASA to Switch News Release Servers

10.21.05

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, NASA will move its e-mail distribution of news releases to a new server. To ensure that subscribers continue receiving releases, there will be a three-day transition during which releases will be sent from both the old and new servers. From Thursday, Oct. 20, through Monday, Oct. 24, subscribers will receive two copies of each release.

The transition will be complete on Oct. 24, and beginning the next day users will again start receiving only one copy of each release.

During the transition, NASA news releases will come from two NASA News addresses:

NASANews@hq.nasa.gov (the existing listserve) and hqnews@mediaservices.nasa.gov> (the new listserve)

If you do not receive e-mails from the second address during the transition period, it's possible your e-mail address did not make the transition to the new listserve. Send an e-mail to:

hqnews-subscribe@mediaservices.nasa.gov

to subscribe to the new list.

If you have other problems, please send an e-mail to:

hqnews-help@mediaservices.nasa.gov
