Hair-Raising Fun

What you need:
  • small piece of paper
  • comb
  • balloon
  • water faucet

 
Here's what you do:

1. Tear the paper into tiny pieces.

2. Comb through your hair several times and place the comb near the paper pieces.

3. Blow up the balloon. Rub it on your head.

4. Place the balloon near the paper pieces.

5. Turn on the cold water.

6. Make sure it is low enough that it is just a small narrow stream.

7. Rub the balloon on your head.

8. Hold the balloon near the stream of water.

9. Try picking up other things, such as salt, puffed rice cereal or sugar, with the balloon.
