Our Home: Earth From Space is a Telly award winning video introduction to Earth System Science. Two student guides demonstrate connections between various Earth system components and challenge the viewer to look for their own connections in the Earth system. The video consists of an introduction to Earth system science followed by short segments on the use of satellites to study Earth, El Niño, global warming, drought and hurricanes. The video is neatly broken into segments so that an individual segment can be shown as each topic is studied in the classroom. Video segments can be used as either an engagement or concluding activity to a lesson.
