Space Stations/Space Vehicles
02.02.06
The Vision for Space Exploration -- America's long-term plan for returning astronauts to the moon and preparing for voyages to Mars and other destinations in the solar system -- kicked into high gear in 2005. The year was filled with milestones, including the return of the space shuttle to flight and the announcement of plans for America's next generation of spacecraft. Plan to watch NASA-TV Feb. 13-19 as the space shuttle marks its 25th year of flight and the International Space Station celebrates five years of living and working in space.
