Students can use a robot to measure the hallway accurately. This activity includes programming instructions and a help sheet to assist students with writing a simple program on their graphing calculators. The commands instruct the robot to move forward carrying a calculator until it bumps into something. Students use data displayed on the calculator to determine the distance the robot traveled.
