In this activity, students combine liquids of different densities to observe the fluid flow caused by gravity-driven buoyancy and settling. Students conduct three different experiments to compare:
  • The effects of salt water and fresh water.
  • The effects of warm and cold water.
  • The effects of fluids of students' own choosing.
