This NASA video segment explains what happens on board the space shuttle during a typical work day. Viewers watch as astronauts demonstrate how to take a shower, eat breakfast and brush their teeth to get ready to perform their tasks for the day on the space shuttle. Emphasis is placed on the fact that astronauts do many of the same things that people do on Earth, only in a microgravity environment. Viewers also see that both astronauts and students need to cooperate with others to fully learn about the world.
