NASA eClips™ video segments can be used to ENGAGE students in many settings by introducing NASA real world applications for science and math concepts. Our World segments target grades K-5; Real World segments target grades 6-8; and Launchpad segments target grades 9-12.
Meteorology: An Educator's Resource for Inquiry-Based Learning for Grades 5-9 is written as a supplement to existing Earth and space science curricula. The guide may be used in both formal and informal education settings as well as at home. Hyperlinks to individual chapters are listed in the table below. A complete downloadable copy of the guide is also available at http://www.nasa.gov/audience/foreducators/topnav/materials/listbytype/Meteorology_Guide.html
Video segments that correlate with the content of the NASA Meteorology Educator Resource have been identified below. NASA eClips™ segments from different grade levels have been suggested, allowing for differentiated instruction to meet student needs. Teachers may mix and match resources to develop a unique learning experience appropriate for individual classrooms.
