NASA eClips™ and Meteorology: An Educator's Resource
NASA eClips™ video segments can be used to ENGAGE students in many settings by introducing NASA real world applications for science and math concepts. Our World segments target grades K-5; Real World segments target grades 6-8; and Launchpad segments target grades 9-12.
Meteorology: An Educator's Resource for Inquiry-Based Learning for Grades 5-9 is written as a supplement to existing Earth and space science curricula. The guide may be used in both formal and informal education settings as well as at home. Hyperlinks to individual chapters are listed in the table below. NASA eClips™ segments from different grade levels have been suggested, allowing for differentiated instruction to meet student needs. Teachers may mix and match resources to develop a unique learning experience appropriate for individual classrooms.
How To Access Specific NASA eClips™ Segments
To access the videos, click on the hyperlink below. Scroll through the playlist beneath the video window to locate the appropriate title. Click on the title to begin playing the video. The video may be viewed in full-screen mode by clicking on the full-screen icon. Click on the word "download" or use the chain link icon to download and save the video for use at any time. The most recent videos are available in closed-captioning. All other videos are open-captioned.
