    Create an Elementary Design Project


    Use the Elementary Design Packet to introduce students to a five-step design process: Ask, Imagine, Build, Evaluate, and Share. Students answer questions about each step of their design process. A rubric is included to assist with evaluation. This open-ended packet can be applied to any design project and can be used to enhance existing curriculum.

    Create a Secondary Design Project


    Use the Secondary Design Packet to introduce students to an eight-step design process: Identify the Problem; Identify Criteria and Constraints; Brainstorm Possible Solutions; Select a Design; Build a Model or Prototype; Test the Model and Evaluate; Refine the Design; and Share the Solution. Students answer questions about each step of their design process. A rubric is included to assist with evaluation.
