How did we get here? Are we alone? Where are we going? These fundamental questions have led generations of people to lives of exploration. Now a NASA exhibit will allow people of all ages to learn about the Vision for Space Exploration without having to brave new worlds. The exhibit will run May 6-8 at the following locations:
The Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum, Chicago, Ill.
Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh, Pa.
COSI Toledo, Toledo, Ohio
The New Detroit Science Center, Detroit, Mich.
The exhibit, provided by NASA's Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, Ohio, will feature interactive kiosks on future exploration, a video
outlining NASA's stepping stone approach to exploring Earth, the Moon, Mars and beyond, a model of the Mars Exploration Rover, an ion
engine or an advance concept rocket as well as information on the past century of powered flight.
Visitors to the venues can also meet NASA staff and attend presentations on some of the future missions the Agency will be conducting as well as the success of the current Mars Exploration Rover mission.
