October 21, 2013 - NASA Dryden Awards Facilities Maintenance Contract to Helix Management Services

 



 

NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center has awarded a contract to Helix Management Services, of Lanham, Md., to provide facility operations and maintenance services at the center’s campuses at Edwards Air Force Base and Palmdale, Calif.

September 25, 2013 - NASA Awards Institutional Maintenance and Repair Contract

 



 

NASA has selected Wolf Creek Federal Services Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska, to provide facilities operations, repair and maintenance services at the agency's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.

NASA has released its fiscal year 2011 scorecard on sustainability and energy performance. The agency ranked third overall in the list of government agencies.

NASA 2010 OMB Scorecard on Sustainability and Energy

This scorecard evaluates NASA's efforts to create sustainable facilities that use reduced amounts of energy and leave smaller footprints on the ecosystem. The scorecard evaluates NASA in the fields of emissions reduction, energy reduction, petroleum reduction, reduction in potable water intensity, use of renewable energy, and green buildings. The evaluations in these areas help shape NASA's sustainability plan for the next year.
