Christopher T. Jedrey, Executive Director, Office of Headquarters Operations
Christopher T. Jedrey is the Executive Director for Headquarters Operations within the Office of Institutions and Management (I&M). He supports the associate administrator for I&M by leading, managing, coordinating and directing operations that support headquarters as an institution, providing services such as equal opportunity and diversity management, information technology and communications, facilities and administrative services, human resources management, logistics, training and procurement.
Previously at NASA, Jedrey served as the Deputy Assistant Administrator for Headquarters Operations in the Office of Infrastructure and Administration. In addition, he served as the Deputy Director of the Headquarters Acquisition Division and Deputy Director of the Competition & Operations Division for the Agency Office of Procurement. He led a team of senior technical and functional experts in implementing a multi-billion dollar Space Mission Communications and Data Services acquisition affecting NASA-wide activities. He was the principal architect of a Consolidated Peer Review Support program for agency-wide research activities.
Jedrey has over 33 years of federal government service. In addition to his NASA experience, he served as Director of the Automated Data Processing (ADP) Services & Technology and Associate Director for Human resources and ADP Support at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He also has worked at the Department of Energy in procurement.
Jedrey has received NASA's Outstanding Leadership Medal, NASA's Exceptional Performance Award, NASA's Group Achievement Award, and the NASA Acquisition Streamlining Award.
He graduated magnum cum laude from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in business management.
