FEMALE SPEAKER: I am here at NASA at the AARP convention for my husband, Pete. I don't have as much interest as he does.
On his fortieth birthday, I bought him a trip to space camp where he spent 10 days, and he did all the things that the NASA astronauts train for. My sister, Cheryl, bought him a little space suit. He was a little disappointed he couldn't be the commander because he really thought he would have been a good commander, but he is so into the space stuff that I really wish he was here to tell everyone where he was.
When we landed on the Moon, he knew the astronauts' names. He knew all that, and he would really love this. So, Pete, this is for you. I'm so sorry you didn't want to go.
