MALE SPEAKER: We went to Radio City Music Hall in New York City that Sunday afternoon, July 20th, 1969. I was with my parents, and actually in the theater, they were showing listening to Walter Cronkite talking about the man on the Moon, that this was the first time in history that man had actually stepped on the Moon, and I remember it so vividly that night, one giant step for man one small step, one giant step for mankind.
I actually watched that, and I said it was a very special moment in American history and world history. It is something that we've been waiting for, for about eight years since John Glenn first went around in the capsule. So that was very special, and I never forgot that. It was a moment that I think will live on forever in history.
