MALE SPEAKER: Well, I was sitting in my family's basement actually. That's where our TV was, down in the basement, and watching the event, it was everybody stayed home to watch it, and when I was watching it, that something that I focused on which is interesting, the first words that were Neil Armstrong said, as he was coming down the ladder. He said "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" when he was standing on the steps. He did not say that when he was on the Moon. The first words he said on the Moon were something like, "It feels gritty and sandy," and I remember the announcer saying that those words are not going to be remembered. The first words said on the Moon are going to be remembered as "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," even though those were not the first words uttered by man on the Moon.
