MALE SPEAKER: I'm 58 years of age, and I grew up with NASA. I guess the first time I really got involved and interested in what's going on with NASA is when the Sputnik was shot into space.
Shortly thereafter, I very well vividly remember John Glenn when he splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean. I remember I was in the Army. They told us. We were out in the field that day, and they told us we landed on the Moon. I said, "Man, I wish they'd given me them orders instead of these. I would have taken that ride any day."
