MALE SPEAKER: I was in North Tonawanda, New York, that's just north of Buffalo, at some friend's house, and we watched Neil Armstrong set foot on the Earth and say, "One step for man, one giant step for mankind." And then I've been to his hometown in Wapakoneta, Ohio.
INTERVIEWER: People have talked about that for the past couple of days. When you were with your friends, what did you all say to one another when you actually saw it? What was going through your mind?
MALE SPEAKER: I was just in awe that this was really happening, and I've always been a science freak and loved Star Trek and, oh, the 2001 Space Odyssey, and I've read a lot of scientific books, including Dune and all the Dune books. So I really enjoy science fiction.
